Selena Gomez tattoos. The 20-year-old singer and former “Wizards of Waverly Place” actress has a music note on her wrist and a Roman Numeral on the back of her neck.

Selena’s first tattoo was a tiny music note on the side of her right wrist. “I was named after a singer [Tejano singer Selena Quintanilla-Pérez] and music obviously is a big influence for me,” Selena told E! Online. “And there’s music stuff with my mom that means a lot to me, too.”

The tattoo comes after Selena announced that she’ll be taking a break from music to spend most of 2012 focusing on her acting career. Perhaps she wanted the tattoo to remind herself that music is a part of her even when she’s not performing?When she got her first inking in February she claimed she was done thinking about adding more to her body for now.

But some months down the line Selena Gomez has taken the plunge and gotten another permanent marking.

The Disney starlet recently got a tattoo across the back of neck, which spells 76 in Roman numera

 "The tattoo was a tribute to a family member who she said means a lot to her," he says. "Selena was nervous it might have been painful, so she held her best friend's hand the whole time. But she did a great job."

Gomez also got her other tattoo touched up while she was there. Back in February, Gomez got a small tattoo of a music note on her right wrist to represent the impact music has had on her life
